This award offers undergraduate researchers a source of funding to apply towards the registration fees and travel costs associated with attending a professional chemistry conference. Students can apply for up to a maximum of $400. 

To be eligible, individuals must: 

1. Be currently conducting undergraduate research with a faculty/staff member or affiliate member of the UW–Madison Chemistry Department. 

2. Plan on attending a chemistry conference between January 1^st and August 31st, 2027. 

3. Have not previously been granted an Undergraduate Research Conference Travel Award by the UW–Madison Chemistry Department. 

4. Submit an application to the Google Form before 5:00 PM December 11th, 2026. 

5. Not be receiving any other financial support that covers the same costs of the conference. 

6. Be an enrolled student at UW–Madison at the time you apply for the conference.
