Carolyn Hanrahan wins Best Poster Award from the Polymeric Materials Science and Engineering (PMSE) division at the 2026 ACS Spring Meeting in Atlanta.
Congratulations to Carolyn Hanrahan for winning the Best Poster Award from the Polymeric Materials Science and Engineering (PMSE) division at the 2026 ACS Spring Meeting in Atlanta.
“I’m a senior chemistry major and joined the Boydston Research Group in summer 2024, where I’ve been working with Sarah Finnegan, a 4th-year PhD student, on developing resin formulations and investigating photoredox catalysis for multiwavelength and multimaterial additive manufacturing. My ACS poster focuses on quantifying metal salt reduction in small-molecule systems to help integrate photoredox catalysis into digital light processing (DLP) vat photopolymerization as a novel method for 3D printing metals.”
