Types of Research Opportunities

There are many ways to get involved in undergraduate research; you may do research for course credit, as an internship, for pay, or as a volunteer. Regardless, several blocks of time are usually required over multiple semesters to carry out a research project.  To make the most of your experience, it is recommended you start searching for a research opportunity early in your undergraduate career.
